Cayman Kai is on the north side of Grand Cayman, the largest of the Cayman Islands, and is considered to be the quietest part of Grand Cayman. There is one road into Cayman Kai and the same road out. Cayman Kai comprises primarily private homes , mostly waterfront properties, with a few condominium developments, each with its own Strata.
Within Cayman Kai you will find the renowned Rum Point with its beach restaurant and bar with a second colourful restaurant for evening dining as well as the gorgeous Kaibo with its marina, lovely beachfront dining and the famed Upstairs, considered one of the finest restaurants on the island.
In addition, Cayman Kai is home to the Bioluminescence Lagoon, one of the few places on earth where the water will luminesce. At Starfish Point there are red, yellow or orange giant starfish to be admired but not touched while only a very short boat ride away, is the sandbar known as Stingray City where stingrays abound and are fun to swim with.
The Cayman Kai Property Owners Association was created in 2005 in order to protect the Restrictive Covenants which apply to virtually every lot in the area and restrict the height and style of properties that can be built.. However our work goes further, and represents members to Government and its agencies when necessary. The Association has an Architectural Control Committee to whom every building project must be submitted for approval prior to building.
The Cayman Kai Property Owners Association (CKPOA) comprises members who own property, whether it is a home or land, within the Cayman Kai boundaries. The area is mainly dedicated to single-family homes although there are also several condominiums and strata communities within the area.
Imagine waking up as the light gently enters the room. Imagine getting up, opening the windows and letting the glorious sunlight flood the house, while the magnificent view over the Caribbean Sea invites you to think about all the possibilities the new day has to offer, a few minutes away from the main points of interest of the Grand Cayman.
