Tom Watling, born and raised in the Cayman Islands, is the pioneer of Bioluminescent Tours and his environmentally sustainable tourism operation ‘Cayman Kayaks’. When Cayman Kai was just being developed, he remembers many weekends here sailing, climbing sand dunes at starfish point and laying out under the stars. He has been living here since 2012 with his wife Lisha. In 2018, they designed their home ‘Skai Gazer’ to take advantage of the year-round sunshine, tropical breezes and the dark skies. He loves being a part of this community where everyone still smiles and waves to each other.
